What is a CNC Router?
A Computer Numerical Control (or CNC) router is a digital cutting machine that is used to manufacture products. It is used for cutting various hard materials, including wood, metal, plastic and foam. These days, CNC routers often perform the duties traditionally completed by carpentry machines, such as panel saws and boring machines.
CNC routing can be used to help produce a variety of items, particularly trimming and cutting plastic.
It can also be used to trim interior and exterior decorations, wooden panels, door carvings, sign boards and wooden frames.
